Letter of March 8th.

3/8/2010 Oi Pai E Mae (Hi Father and Mother) Hey, sounds to me like everyone in the family is really super busy. There’s lots of things to do and life gets really crazy. Well to tell you about my week, it has been really good. Yesterday I baptized a kid named Herculis, we are teaching him and his 17 year old brother Raylum. Herculis is only 13. His brother Raylum was supposed to get baptized too, but during the interview he felt like he wasn’t prepared. We were also supposed to have another baptism yesterday of a girl named Erika who is 14 but she too felt like she wasn’t ready so next week we hopefully baptize them. We are also teaching another teen named Felipe He is 17 and will most definitely get baptized this week. He is really cool and really has a desire to know the things that the church has to offer. Yesterday at church there was another kid that we will start teaching this week, he came with his friend, and when we started talking to him and he told us that he was searching for a new church and beliefs. The people here in Sobral are really good. That is really funny what Uncle Ronald said at the Catholic Church and yes there are lots of Catholics down here. Many people really don’t know what they believe and don’t know much about their church just that they were baptized in the Catholic church. This past P day we went paintballing as a district and it was awesome but really hot. We had to wear pads as you will see in the photos. That’s about it for the week, I really look forward each week also to hear what is happening at home and with the family. I love you mom and dad very much thank you for everything. Love Elder Crittenden
